New Brighton Online is a website dedicated to created high quaity content to promote New Brighton as Destination.

New Brighton Online started as a one-stop-shop website for information about the Greater New Brighton area. We began the website after local community groups identified that there was not one place that the community and visitors could find information about events and organisations. Local businesses also wanted to showcase their services.  

It was awesome to have something that’s just for our community, and had been a useful tool for many, but times change and with new tools out these days such as Google My Business, we were seeing less of a need for our platform in our community.

In April 2023 we overhauled our website’s function, and New Brighton Online become a “destination website” - dedicated to making high quality content that promotes New Brighton to Christchurch, New Zealand, and the world, as the place to be, to travel to, and to live.
